Terms of Use
Expat Crow is a software service designed to help users organize documents, dates, appointments, required visits, tax deadlines, and reminders.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for independently verifying all legal, immigration, residency, tax, filing, travel, renewal, and other requirements that apply to you.
Expat Crow may not be relied upon as the sole source for any deadline, legal requirement, filing obligation, immigration status, tax obligation, or compliance decision.
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Features, availability, reminder schedules, and beta services may change as Expat Crow develops.
Privacy
Expat Crow stores information you provide in order to operate the service, including account information, document records, dates, event details, tax deadline information, reminder preferences, and notes.
Password authentication and application data are handled using third-party infrastructure providers used to operate Expat Crow. Email providers are used to deliver account and reminder messages, and hosting providers are used to operate the application.
Expat Crow does not sell your personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers as necessary to host, secure, authenticate, maintain, and deliver the service.
You should avoid storing sensitive information that is not necessary for the reminder or tracking function. Where the product accepts a document number, Expat Crow currently stores only the final four characters.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users should maintain secure passwords and protect access to their accounts.
Important Disclaimer
Expat Crow is an organizational and reminder tool. It does not provide legal, immigration, tax, accounting, investment, or other professional advice.
Expat Crow does not determine whether you are a tax resident, whether a visa or residence permit is valid, whether a physical presence requirement has been satisfied, whether a tax return must be filed, or whether any particular law or regulation applies to you.
Government rules, filing dates, immigration requirements, residency rules, tax obligations, and similar requirements can change. Always confirm important information with the relevant government authority or an appropriately qualified professional.
Reminder delivery is provided as a convenience and should not be treated as a guarantee that a reminder will always be delivered or received.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Expat Crow and its operators are not liable for losses arising from missed deadlines, incorrect or incomplete information, failed reminder delivery, changes in government requirements, loss of data, or decisions made in reliance on the service.
The service is provided on an “as available” basis during beta and may contain errors, interruptions, or incomplete features.
Account & Data
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account.
If account deletion or data export functionality is not yet available directly in the beta application, users may contact Expat Crow for assistance.
Changes
These terms and privacy practices may be updated as Expat Crow develops. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
