Caw & Caw AI

Standard Caw analyzes documents, dates, events, tax deadlines, reminders, Pipeline information, and country relationships already stored in Expat Crow to identify items that are upcoming, overdue, or may need attention.

Standard Caw does not send account data to an AI provider. Its classifications and summaries are organizational aids only and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect if the underlying account information is incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

Global Profile information is user-controlled. Country relationships and individual facts have separate controls for whether Caw may use them. Leaving a field blank does not create an inferred fact, status, residence, citizenship, tax connection, or obligation.

Country Intelligence is general, source-backed information selected and reviewed for publication by Expat Crow. Source links, verification dates, effective dates, labels, summaries, or editorial review do not establish that an item is complete, current, legally authoritative, or applicable to a particular person.

The Compliance Timeline labels dates from account records as confirmed records only to distinguish them from suggested information. “Confirmed” means the date was stored in the account; it does not mean Expat Crow independently verified the date or determined that an obligation applies.

Country Intelligence is not converted into a Personal record, deadline, reminder, or obligation automatically. A user must independently determine applicability and choose whether to create or update a record.

Caw AI is optional. When enabled, Caw questions and relevant Expat Crow context are sent to OpenAI to generate summaries and answers.

Before sending context to OpenAI, Expat Crow replaces people names with temporary labels such as Person 1 and removes internal record IDs. Relevant country, document, event, tax, Pipeline, reminder, date, household-assignment, and other tracked details may still be included when needed to answer a question.

Do not enter information into Caw AI that is unnecessary for your question. Caw AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or outdated and should be independently verified before you act on it.

On a shared Family household, Caw may use household information that an invited member is permitted to access, including Pipeline participation, person-specific checklist completion, reminder state, documents, events, tax deadlines, and other shared tracked information.

The household owner controls Caw AI consent for the shared household. If the owner enables Caw AI, invited household members who are allowed to use Caw AI may ask questions using relevant shared household context. Invited members do not independently enable or disable the household owner's AI consent.

Household members should not use Caw AI to request, infer, or disclose information they are not authorized to access or share.

Caw and Caw AI do not provide legal, immigration, citizenship, tax, accounting, investment, financial, or other professional advice. They do not determine your legal status, tax residency, filing obligations, visa or document validity, physical-presence compliance, or whether any law, regulation, treaty, deadline, or rule applies to you.

Always verify important dates, requirements, and decisions with the relevant government authority or an appropriately qualified professional. Do not rely on Caw, Caw AI, or reminder delivery as your sole source for a deadline or compliance obligation.

Standard Caw is currently available on Free, Pro, and Family. Caw AI is available on eligible paid plans. Features, limits, availability, and supported data may change as Expat Crow develops.

The household owner can disable Caw AI in Settings. Disabling Caw AI stops future Caw questions and shared household context from being sent to the AI provider through this feature. Standard Caw can remain available separately.
